Upcoming trial of Michael Jackson's physician to be televised

The Michael Jackson wrongful death trial will be televised.

Los Angeles judge Michael Pastor has given the go-ahead to allow cameras into courtroom during Dr. Conrad Murray's trial for involuntary manslaughter in the death of the late pop icon, it was announced Tuesday.

While Pastor blocked filming during jury selection he did grant requests for filming that will involve "absolute least intrusive placement" of cameras during the trail, which begins March 24 and is expected to run approximately six weeks.

We can now add this to the list of reasons (which also includes a televised funeral) why the aphorism "rest in peace" will never apply to Michael Jackson.
